‘Communities’ online networking opportunity for parents, carers and guardians

We’re delighted to announce a new parent, guardian and carers’ online networking opportunity.

The University of Essex has partnered with the education charity Brightside to offer an online networking forum for parents, guardians and carers called ‘Communities.’ The initiative it available throughout the academic year and aims to help parents, guardians and carers support students with their next steps.

Brightside volunteers will run the forum, facilitating conversations and answering questions about the UCAS process, student finance, how to support students with their studies and revision, and much more.

This PDF guide and this short video (viewed easily on Panopto) explain more about how to use the ‘Communities’ platform, which parents, guardians and carers can sign up to by clicking here. If you would like further information about this opportunity then please email the University of Essex Aspire team.
