Creative Forces Day at Anglia Ruskin University

Make Happen are hosting a Creative Forces Day in collaboration with Anglia Ruskin University.

Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford Campus
Tuesday 8 November, 10am – 2pm

Creative Forces events offer Service children the opportunity to engage with higher education through a day of activities at a university campus and to explore their identity as Service children with others from a similar background but different ages and schools. It is also an opportunity to build the capacity of schools to understand and support their Service children.

Taking place at their Chelmsford Campus, students will take part in the following.

  • A university talk on the benefits of going to university
  • Subject tasters (we anticipate running a nursing and paramedic taster)
  • Campus tour
  • A chance to ask current university students questions

Who can attend:

Any state-funded secondary school in Essex.

Although Creative Forces Days are designed for Service Children (students from a military family) in Years 7 – 11, we encourage Service Children to bring a buddy to learn and experience the day too.

If you have any questions about the day, please do get in touch with us at projects@makehappen.org

To register your school’s interest, please complete the following form by Monday 17 October – CLICK HERE!
