Families across Essex are invited to join Make Happen and JTRS at the University of Essex, Colchester Campus on Saturday 12 March 2022, from 10am to 4pm, for a day jam-packed full of space-themed, fun, family LEGO challenges!
Your mission (if you choose to accept it!) is to save the astronauts and bring them home safely. Mission accepted? Get the whole family involved in the action, designing, creating and coding a LEGO space rover. Save the day by removing asteroids from the spaceship’s path, deploy the space station and rescue the stranded astronauts.
The day is suitable for families with at least one student currently in Year 7-10 at a school in Essex plus parents/carers and siblings of any age. It’s fun for the whole family!
Students (and their family!) will gain a wide range of valuable skills from the session such as communication, time management, problem solving, coding skills and many more.
- This activity is free to attend
- Lunch will be provided for the family
- Travel to and from the venue will also be reimbursed after the event
Don’t miss out!
