Future Stars launch event to help care-experienced young people set their sights on university

Students, parents and carers – you’re invited to join us for the virtual launch of the new ‘Future Stars: Setting your sights on University’ programme for care-experienced students.

Just announced! We’ll be joined at the launch event by motivational expert Mr Beezy and current uni students for a Q&A session

You’ll be able to find out about the great free events on offer in the programme, take part in a Q&A with current uni students and hear from a fantastic motivational speaker to kick start your journey!

If you’re currently in Years 9 – 13 or in college and you’re in foster care, or have experienced some time in care; or you’re an adult in the life of someone who is in care, please do get in touch.

By taking part in Future Stars, young people in year 9-13 or college will have the opportunity to get FREE:

  • One-to-one support
  • Careers guidance
  • Extra tutoring in English and Maths
  • University taster days
  • Virtual summer school
  • Inspirational speakers and webinars

The Future Stars programme includes sessions for school staff, social workers and foster carers.
