Are you considering going to university? Would you like to find out more about what university is really like from a current university student?
13-17 March 2023 at University of Essex, Colchester Campus
For first- and second-year college students, or year 12 and 13 sixth form students*
Join us for a chance to shadow a university student for a day – meet and work alongside one of the students at the University of Essex and find out more about what student life can be like. The day will include a range of workshops, a library tour, and other exciting activities, including meeting and working with current students and staff at the university.
Register your interest by Wednesday 22 February 2023, for a chance to be selected. Places are limited, so sign up as soon as possible! If successful, you will get a free one-day experience to discover what life is like as an undergraduate student. Lunch will be provided and travel costs covered.
When you sign up, you can vote for a subject you’d like to find out more about (dependent on staff availability), and a preferred date for the shadowing experience to take place.
*Please note, that spaces are limited and UniConnect students will be prioritised in the shortlisting. Don’t worry if you’re not sure whether you’re a Uni Connect student or not. Your Careers team will have this information and your details will be checked on completion of the registration form.
