University – what’s stopping you?

As part of Anglia Ruskin University’s drive to inspire and educate care experienced young people – and help you see that higher education can be an option for you – throughout June you’re invited to join two virtual events for Year 10 and Year 12 students, in collaboration with their own, current care experienced students.

This event will run towards the end of the school day, to make it easier for you to join:

Year 12 event: University – what’s stopping you?!

Wednesday 23 June 2-3.30pm
As part of the Make Happen ‘Future Stars: Setting your sights on University’ collaborative project; join us for our exclusive, virtual event just for care experienced students. You’ll learn about the journey to university and hear from ARU’s own care leaver and care experienced student ambassadors about their experience with applying to, and studying at, university. This is a great opportunity to learn about the important deadlines involved in the application process, the support available to both university students and care leavers specifically, and to ask any questions that you may have – no question is a silly question!
By attending this virtual event, you’ll also be entered into a draw to win £100 worth of shopping vouchers.
