The inaugural Green Careers Week took place from 7th – 12th November 2022. Set up by the team behind National Careers Week in partnership with STEM Learning, the goal was to “raise aspirations, support diversity, challenge stereotypes, and promote real opportunities for young people to have a career that will genuinely make a difference.”
During the week, Make Happen ran two webinars to showcase the range of job roles and career pathways that relate to sustainability and the environment. The webinars featured panels of guest speakers with a range of career backgrounds, including Essex Wildlife Trust, the Environment Agency, Edge Hotel School, Essex & uffolk Water, and many more.
These webinars are available on the Make Happen Academy, along with lots more on-demand content around careers, further education, and higher education.
