Sign up for an opportunity to find out what university life is really like from current university students and learn about the subjects you could study

Hosted at University of Essex (Colchester Campus) and Anglia Ruskin (Chelmsford Campus)

For year 1 and year 2 college students, or year 12 and 13 sixth form students*

Sign up for a chance to shadow a university student for a day! Meet and work alongside one of the student ambassadors at the University of Essex or Anglia Ruskin University and find out more about what student life can be like. The day will include a workshop in your chosen subject area, a study skills & library session and other exciting activities.

Please note that sign up for the taster days at Anglia Ruskin University taster days closed on 2nd April. You can still sign up to the University of Essex taster day by submitting your application by 30th April!

Register your interest by 30th April for a chance to be selected for the University of Essex day on 19th May. Places are limited, so sign up as soon as possible! If successful, you will get a free one-day experience to discover what life is like as an undergraduate student.

Lunch will be provided and travel costs covered. You will need to get permission from your College or Sixth Form to attend this project and we will need a parent/carer to complete a consent form. Please provide the name and email address of a tutor and a parent/carer when signing up.

*Please note that spaces are limited and UniConnect students and those from under-represented groups will be prioritised in the shortlisting. Don’t worry if you’re not sure whether you’re a Uni Connect student or not. Your Careers Team will have this information and your details will be checked on completion of the registration form.
