Monday 15 November
Welcome Week

In this Student’s Life 30-minute online talk, you can hear directly from the perspective of Chloe, a student from Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), in conversation with Jordan from the Make Happen team. The discussion covers accommodation, part-time work, societies you can join, exams and assessments, and much more. Chloe details her own experiences of welcome week at ARU, including all the freebies that you can pick-up during Freshers’ Fair!
Sports Clubs

Indra, from University of East London, is back for her second episode of The Student’s Life. This time she talks to us about sports clubs at UEL, covering topics such as joining clubs, differences between competitive and leisure teams and how easy it is to balance studying with taking part in sports clubs.

In this episode Jordan is joined by Terri, from the University of East London, for the second time, this time around she tells us all about writing essays at university. If you are wondering what is different about essay writing at university level compared with other stages of education then this episode is the perfect place to find out more!

In this episode Jordan talks to Nela, a student at the University of Essex, who spent a year abroad studying at the University of Murcia in the south of Spain. Nela tells us about the highlights of studying abroad as well as the biggest challenges so if you are considering studying abroad as part of your education this is one to watch.
